Oracle wants to conquer the Cloud
Oracle has recently claimed that its cloud-based billings are much higher than rivals Salesforce and Workday. The company backs its legacy with customers and says that they will trust the organization to move them seamlessly to the cloud. Oracle said that its billings great at 68% in the second quarter, compared to 21% and 41% at Salesforce and Workday respectively.

- Conversion from other platforms to Hadoop
- Using Hadoop for advanced use cases
Apache Spark was the respondent's most preferred platform with Mapreduce coming in second. However, experts predict that Mapreduce will be the primary computing framework for production deployments.
