#HackathonPune Day 2
It all started at the wee hours of night when the coders were high-on-code building some of the best innovation at the speed of their thoughts. The coding champs burnt the midnight oil to build some great apps giving life to the theme "Chasing billion dreams - building uncommon applications for common people". Many teams were recognized for their concepts that won them the judges appreciation for their unique ideas. These innovative apps that spanned across agriculture, industry, automation, manufacturing, infrastructure and utility apps with IoT, Machine Learning, aims to improve the lives of commoners, farmers and the workforce.
These very ideas won many of them the special appreciation and the uber-cool VR gears from Microsoft which they couldn't wait to wear.
We at e-Zest, didn't leave any stone unturned to cheer the teams to keep them in good spirit during the much-heated hours of their work-in-progress, nudging them to take a quick-and-short break. 'Group quiz' saw many takers and the winners of the quiz took home some awesome bag of goodies, followed by a quick round of fun games for morning warm up. With the atmosphere filled with such high-energy and zest it was not easy to hold on the ecstasy to see who would be the winner of Hackathon Pune 2017.
Five teams entered the super final making it to the finals for their uncommon ideas that met the criteria set for them by judges. And swiftly came the much-awaited moment where the judges announced the three winning teams for their bigger vision and bold ideas.
The second runner up Rupesh Agrawal and Prerna Shukla and first runner up Anuradha Bankar and Shweta Gajare. And finally, the winners of Hackathon Pune 2017 were announced - the millennials, Saif and Sabarinath won for their brilliant and bold idea of an app that promises to revolutionize the social media community.
Stephen Forte, Managing Partner of Fresco Capital, Satish Pradhan, independent consultant on Boards of the National Payments Corporation of India and Tal Manufacturing Solutions Limited and Devendra Deshmukh, e-Zest CEO and Founder addressed the winning teams and all participants, congratulating each team for thinking big and for their knowledge on digital technologies. Participation certificates and give aways were distributed to all participants.
Like the saying goes "All's well that ends well", day 2 of Hackathon Pune 2017 saw many happy faces posing for the cameras with their gleaming faces shining brightly. The day was made and all efforts paid off seeing participants leave with bigger ideas and even bigger learning that would linger with them for quite some time.
