**Facebook is shutting down Parse**

Facebook has decided to shut down Parse, its MBaaS cloud. The service will not be available from January 28, 2017. The reason for the move is that the company wants to focus its resources elsewhere. However, the move has surprised many since the social networking giant has updated Parse continually with newer features.
