Gartner’s prediction: Indian public cloud service market to reach USD 435 million in 2013
According to the recent study conducted by Gartner the Indian public cloud services market will increase in the year 2013 which is about 35.7 percent growth compared to last year. IT spending will be increased enormously by the year 2017. Gartner’s 2017 forecast for Indian public cloud services is expected to reach USD 1.4 billion.

A research conducted by number of companies and Gartner’s prediction indicated that the total no of applications downloads this year would be expectedly reach to more than 100 billion. The research also states that the revenue will reach to $26 billion by the end of this year which was only $18 billion last year.

Research conducted on 620 members about SharePoint, its past and current versions issues with more on SharePoint customization, user adoption, third party applications as well as strategies to be built for cloud computing with SharePoint, governance, integration and security.
Interesting findings were viz. 29 percent are looking for hybrid cloud, 57 percent use SharePoint for Electronic Content etc.
