Inspiring times at Microsoft Inspire 2019

The month of July has been a month of reunion, networking, sharing ideas and creating business opportunities through partnerships. Microsoft Inspire – Microsoft's flagship partner event is just around the corner and we are excited to be a part of this mega event for the fourth time in a row.

This year the keynote speaker line-up will include Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, President Brad Smith, Executive Vice President Judson Althoff, who leads Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business organization, and Corporate Vice President Gavriella Schuster, who leads Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner organization.

There will be executive presentations, trainings, networking opportunities – all focused on accelerating mutual success, hence, attending Microsoft Inspire is a must do activity for all Microsoft partners, wherever they are in their partnership journey. Here is what I am looking forward to from Microsoft Inspire 2019:

  • As a system integrator, we are always looking for products, platforms that we can partner with and implement as a part of the solution. It is a great way to accelerate the solution implementation and realizing ROI. A walkthrough in the expo area is a great experience to learn about various products partners have built to transform or optimize.
  • Understanding partner roadmap - We all know Microsoft is a partner-driven organization. We are always eager to know more about partner strategy, changes, and new learnings from many partners who work very closely with the Microsoft partner ecosystem like us.
  • Participate in workshops and sessions - Various sessions on technology, innovations, business and leadership is another occasion that is most awaited among participants. This year it looks like there are courses available for everyone at every level. I am also looking forward to learning more about Azure, Artificial Intelligence /Machine Learning, data science, and office 365 capabilities. There is a lot to learn from leaders who have been there and done that.
  • Meeting Microsoft folks - Many of us work closely with various Microsoft staff members on a daily basis. We collaborate on Teams, outlook and office 365. This is an opportunity to give a face to that conversation and beer for a toss.

I am eagerly waiting for the most desirable and everyone’s most favourite CEO Satya Nadella’s keynote speech. I am sure all of us are definitely looking forward to hearing him speak. And not to forget the Queen and the Adam Lambert band. Being a lover of drums, I hope to see Roger Tylor doing some drum-acrobatics. I have downloaded the event app available at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/msft-events/id1402818768 and also on Android store. It's a great opportunity to look for companies that I want to connect with, say hello and discuss opportunities for working together.

Let's connect, collaborate, learn, have fun, share insights and experiences from the Microsoft ecosystem. Because together we achieve more!
