As an e-Commerce executive or technology professional you must be excited about the upcoming Magento Imagine conference in Las Vegas (Apr 23-25). At the same time with over 150+ speakers, 100+ sessions and over 3,000 attendees, the scale and choices can be extremely daunting.
We at e-Zest are thrilled to be a Gold Sponsor and to have an increased presence of experts and constant learners there to listen, share ideas, and connect.
Magento Imagine is a great opportunity for all to learn about the latest trends and technologies, get insights from leaders, and most importantly to connect with potential business partners.
I, Girish will also be there. I am Chief Evangelist (for customer outcomes) at e-Zest and love making customers successful. Here are my thoughts on how we can get the most out of this great networking opportunity.
Be Open - Connect
Great things start with openness and conversations. Approach people and be approachable. Mark out time during the day for both learning as well as meeting new people. Besides the cocktail parties to chitchat, there are often opportunities in breaks as well to strike conversations in the exhibition area.
Opening up about yourself as a person too is great. Also, sharing what you liked about a speaker, or some idea that fascinated you can be a great icebreaker. As the conversation progresses, be open to sharing your challenges and dreams. After all, without sharing there is no reimagining or creating the new.
ReImagine
New is created with the audacity to imagine. Be audacious with:
- "What if we could turn something upside down?"
- "How can I help my customers have the most amazing experience?"
- "How can I use X emerging technology in my e-Commerce solution"
- Sniffing out new technologies and trends
- Sharing your vision
- Exploring possibilities and connections
CoCreate
Today magic is created with co-creation. Co-creation with customers, co-creation with partners. In the agile digital transformation era, things are moving at the speed of light in project management. Things have to be prototyped, piloted and created together, small first , and then scaled.
In the end, don't forget it is Las Vegas - it has to be fun and social. While they say "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", I would encourage you to "build new connections that stay with you".
Looking forward to the exciting cocktail of technology, people and connections! See you there soon.
PS: The e-Zest team and I will be at booth #213. Come strike a conversation.
