The last day of February turned out to be a memorable one for e-Zestians as they descended to Garudmachi - High Places located about 75 kms away from Pune. The place, thanks to its awesome weather, lush green forests and fresh air, offered e-Zest team members an opportunity to unwind and spend some time away from their workstations.
The team members, split in two buses, started early from the office. The two-hour ride passed in a jiffy with mini-games and singing sessions entertaining everyone in the bus. Upon reaching Garudmachi, breakfast was served to everyone. After the meal, the friendly coordinators at the venue engaged e-Zestians with various, fun team building activities and games. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the session and it brought out the best in them.
After the lunch session, the team members had to undertake more adventurous activities such as rappelling and Burma Bridge. The activities, though challenging, was a source of great learning for team members. It gave them an opportunity to open up, try new things and conquer their fears. After these activities, the team members relaxed with high tea and snacks before beginning their journey back home.
It was a day of great relaxation for e-Zestians. More importantly, it underlined the significance of virtues such as team work, coordination and patience. The pleasant spattering of raindrops on the way back wonderfully capped off a memorable day!
